“where u are” is a glittering, bouncy track, accompanied by a video directed by Samson Melkamu. The beautiful new video captures the immigrant experience, it opens with footage of Miloe, his three brothers and mother being reunited (under the Family Reunification Act) with his father at Minneapolis St. Paul Airport after three years apart due to political conflict in the Congo. The heart-rending video is a stunning reflection on Miloe’s family life in America, and how it has affected his work as a musician.

Of the track, Miloe says, “I was feeling down and wanted to make a dance song to get some positive energy in me. I’m kinda singing to myself so it feels like it’s about self love, acceptance, and finding joy within.”
