Headline show at London’s Old Blue Last on the 15th March

Having started 2018 on a high with shows supporting The Rifles, Sick Joy and Blackwaters, 485C have unveiled the video for new single ‘Kapow!’ – watch below.

Having spent much of 2017 holed up in the studio, touring the UK – shows included The Great Escape, a support slot with The Sherlocks and This Feeling at Nambucca – and releasing the singles ‘She’ll Lie,’ ‘Strange Medicine’ and ‘Better The Man,’ ‘Kapow!’ is another addictive slice of indie-pop bedlam, it being a short, sharp shock of winding guitars, louche vocals and dreamy harmonies, all wrapped up in 2 minutes and 49 seconds.

Following ‘Kapow!,’ the band will release their debut album this spring via Fierce Panda. They have also announced details of a London headline show at The Old Blue Last for the 15th March – full details are available here:

Support for 485C has already come from Steve Lamacq at 6Music who named ‘Strange Medicine’ as one of his Tracks of 2017 and John Kennedy at Radio X – the band have already performed a session for him – along with Spotify, who included ‘Strange Medicine’ in their ‘Best of the Indie List 2017’ playlist.

485C consist of Adam Hume (vocals), Dom Watson (guitar/vocals), Lucas Hunt (drums), Rory McGowan (guitar/backing vocals) and Sam Watkins (bass/backing vocals).
