Coming out in a couple of weeks via Fierce Panda is the debut EP from Pesky!.  But this isn’t just any old release, given that Pesky! is a band of 7 kids from Ulverton, Cumbria.  And when I say kids, i mean kids, because they’re still at school. In fact most of Pesky! are 12 years old. And the ones who aren’t 12 – namely guitarists Kate and Joseph – are even younger, being 11 and 10.

And the best part is that the lead track ‘Keep Me’ is genuinely fantastic; a blast of shimmering shoegaze that swirls with touches of the youthful naivete of Kenickie with the harmonic lushness of, well, Lush.  Check out EP lead track ‘Keep Me’:
