San Cisco announce UK tour

SAN CISCO

To Release UK Single & Tour

Wild Things

February 18, 2013

Jordi Davieson – Lead vocals & guitar

Josh Biondillo- Guitar, keyboards & vocals

Nick Gardner – Bass

Scarlett Stevens – Drums & vocals

Indie-Pop 4 piece San Cisco are set to release their second UK single Wild Things through Columbia Records on February 18, 2013. The track is taken from their forthcoming self titled debut album, which is set for a UK release summer 2013.

Another vibrant twinkling pop gem, Wild Things is the follow-up to their XFM playlisted Beach EP which was released in the UK in December 2012, around which the band performed sessions on both Huw Stephens’ Radio 1 Introducing, and Dan O’Connell’s XFM show. Also on Radio 1, Zane Lowe made Beach his Next Hype track, and Beach was Record of the Week on Huw’s show.

Posing a more sophisticated sound from the band, Wild Things delves into layered, experimental pop while maintaining the shimmering guitar licks and riffs, intertwined with the dual vocals of Jordi and Scarlett. Watch the intriguing, sinister and contentious video clip that was banned from their native Australian TV shows;

Jordi: “Wild Things was written in between phone interviews in a hotel. The song is about the demons in your head. I find the bad ideas in your head usually grow when you feed them. The more you think about something bad going on, the bigger it grows in your head, and they’re the wild things.“

San Cisco will be supporting The Vaccines on their forthcoming US tour, followed by their first national headline UK tour in March, tickets for which go on sale on Friday January 18. They will also be making their SXSW debut in Austin, TX in March (shows to be announced) and supporting Darwin Deez in Germany and France.
