Having released two singles – ‘Gen V’ and ‘Firechild’ – with the mighty Black Butter Records (Rudimental) last year, they quickly found themselves on the 6Music Playlist and the ‘Future Radio 1’ slot on Zane Lowe. Their follow up track ‘Last Century Man’ was released on the Kitsuné New Faces Compilation in February this year.

‘Electric Baby’ is a big, bold in-your-face wake up call, inspired by personal frustrations of Kingston and Wilson. The song is another example of Solomon Grey’s talent for writing and producing well crafted, thought provoking and original pop music. The single is accompanied by a Tam Cooper Club remix.
The Solomon Grey story is one of journey – having met in London, Kingston and Wilson left the city behind – first to Ireland’s West Coast, then for the Australian outback – spending three years writing, recording and producing their debut album.
Not content with just producing stunning slices of electronica, Solomon Grey have honed their unique production style to become veritable composers. Solomon Grey created the ‘Dathanna EP’ a soundtrack to The Wild Atlantic Way –– for Tourism Ireland which is available for free download from www.solomongrey.net. They have also recently composed the score for BFI Film ‘Gozo’ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1913036/) due out autumn 2014.
On stage, Solomon Grey are a five-piece band and every bit as exciting and euphoric as their recorded music. Following two sold out shows at the tail end of 2013 and February this year, Solomon Grey are gearing up for a summer full of live dates including a single launch at London’s Sebright Arms
