Examining the intersection between pop music, club, electronic, and hip-hop, Shiftee culminates his EP series by asking the question of where our popular music tastes go from here. Everything from bombastic trap horns to crooning slow jams are worked in, deftly moving through and combining the myriad flavors we find in the new music we love. Not simply an EP for DJs and fans, but a cohesive statement on where our collective musical tastes might travel next.
