Speeding out of Southside ATL leaning out the side of white Porsche Carrera, its Danger Incorporated AKA 21 YO Louie Duffelbags and 20 YO Boothlord.’
This dynamic-duo have signed with the city’s coolest label/crew of art ‘weirdos’ Awful Records (home of sui-generis creative the Darkwave Duchess ABRA, gang mastermind Father, super-producer Ethereal and more). They’ve known each other for a minute having gone to the same elementary, middle school and high school.
Today they share the lead single ‘Ashley Olsen’ taken from their forthcoming debut LP ‘Bird Fly By Night’. A hazy lo-fi distorted dream of a love song, it features Louie’s sticky sweet top line melody and Boothlord’s trap-influenced rapping over a rattling beat.7

‘Ashley Olsen’ and ‘Birds Fly By Night’ are the follow up to their 2016’s self-released EPs ‘Are You Afraid of The Danger Boys’ and ‘WORLD WIDE WEB’.

The duo self-identify as ‘Internet Music’. They are the generation influenced by everything, the ‘super-genre’, Jai Paul is a foundational influence (Duffelbags’s has covered ‘Jasmine’). They are Anglophiles who love King Krule and come off like his Atlanta cousins. But over the 9 new tracks, the unique style they are bringing to the game emerges.

BASED ideas and free-association tales of young adulthood from the Southside. Girls that look like Ashley Olsen, the vicarious thrills of downtown, smoking on the roof, all to a trunk-rattling soundtrack. In the process they make a case for being the most exciting new talents out of the city.
