Sasha confirms second ‘REFRACTED:LIVE’ date at The Roundhouse London, Friday 16^th February – Tickets Available Now

With new music and special guests confirmed, all three 2018 shows promise to be as unique and special as the Barbican shows earlier this year.

Due to phenomenal demand, Sasha has added a third REFRACTED:LIVE date in early 2018. The show, in partnership with Late Night Tales, will now call at London’s Roundhouse on Friday 16^th and Saturday 17^th February, before heading to Manchester’s prestigious Bridgewater Hall on Sunday 18^th February, with tickets on sale now.

The overwhelming response to this week’s announcement of two new dates echoes the record-breaking sell-out success of his May 2017 Barbican live shows, when almost 4000 tickets were snapped up in 90 minutes. With the limited edition Blu-Ray of the show also selling all 2000 copies in a few hours, and the huge reaction to pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, fans will need lightning reflexes to secure tickets for the new dates.

REFRACTED:LIVE is an electronic show performed live by Sasha and guest musicians along with strings and live vocals, with his music re-imagined as an original score for live venue performance, providing an enthralling immersive experience. There will also be exciting new material and surprise guests.

‘The moment we walked off stage at the Barbican we were saying ‘We have to do this again’’ Sasha says. ‘We didn’t really have a plan in place. We had no idea the response to those shows was going to be so amazing. So this is Round 2, and we’re getting to perform at two more iconic UK venues. We are looking to change the show to incorporate some new music and make these shows as special and unique as the Barbican ones in May. We can’t wait!’

In REFRACTED:LIVE the Welsh producer and Grammy nominee plays live on piano and electronics alongside his core production team (long-time collaborators Charlie May/Spooky, Dennis White/Thermal Bear, and Dave Gardner), with an 8-piece string section, a percussionist and live vocalists. Those lucky enough to get Barbican tickets bore witness to a special performance of his Scene Delete album as well as a reinterpretation of iconic tracks from his back catalogue, including Wavy Gravy and Battleships (you can watch the full clip from the night here:
