Parade of Lights – Tidal Waves

Parade of Lights are an alt-electro band based in Los Angeles, which feel comfortable with either series of Stranger Things soundtracks than say, La La Land. Such is their fusion of rock, new wave, and shoegaze to create a “unique blend of 80’s influenced pop”, further pop influences, that for creditability reasons, I dare not mention.

Comprised of Ryan Daly, Anthony Improgo, and Mariana Machain, the group formed in 2010, deliver new new alt rock single ‘Tidal  Waves’ with real guitars and bass, propulsive drums and kinetic vocal that are still pop infused but approaching anthemic, should grace the medias as there more than a few crumbs leading investigations to a positive conclusion. ‘Tidal Waves’ retro radio positivity. 7.7/10
