About Mejor Actor De Reparto
Mejor Actor de Reparto are Mauro Duek (Vocals, guitar), Alejo Lecuona (bass) and Ramiro Colomer (drums). Real life chronicles, confessional texts, where shout and whisper coexist and happen naturally: wispy one minute, feral the next. The band plays a raw and intense electric rock, with deep, poetic lyrics full of meaning.
Since the inception of the band they counted on producer Pablo Romero (Árbol) for guidance and assistance with their sound, who worked with them for the first two years of the bands existence, eventually helping them craft their first self-titled LP released in 2013, which was recorded by Patricio Claypole (producer for Los Natas) and mixed by Matías “Chávez” Méndez (producer for Gustavo Cordera).
Their second full length came in 2016, called Humilde Frente Al Mar (in English: humble in front of the sea/ humble in the face of the sea) which was also recorded by Patricio Claypole, this time with Julián Gándara in a producing role.
“Apapamonono” is their latest release, and the first single off their upcoming 3rd full length release.
