The second single off Van She’s forthcoming album ‘Idea of Happiness’ is called ‘Jamaica’ and it’s a little slice of summer heaven. A romantic paean to an idyllic island, ‘Jamaica’ takes the sound of ‘Idea Of Happiness’ out to the end of the jetty and kicks if off the edge into the tropical depths.

The single with remixes will be available on 30th July in the UK and a day later in the USA. Dub legend Mad Professor has turned in a rework that will be included in the package, along with edits by Unicorn Kid, Riva Starr, l-Vis 1990 and Plastic Plates.

Also last week, the first episode of the Modular Studio Sessions debuted. Filmed in Van She’s studio, the live version of ‘Jamaica’ was captured as the band prepare to set out on their first ‘Idea of Happiness’ headline tour across Australia.
