LA-based artist morgxn has revealed the latest track, “me without you,” HERE from his forthcoming debut album vital, slated for release on May 18th via wxnderlost records/Hollywood Records (see Spotify pre-save here). morgxn has also shared featured tracks “carry the weight” which has been added into SiriusXM’s Alt Nation rotation and “translucent,” with powerful accompanying visuals for both. morgxn recently wrapped European tour dates supporting X Ambassadors and is set to make festival appearances at Lollapalooza, Firefly, Cayuga and Laurelive this summer.
morgxn on “me without you”: it’s a song about loving someone so much and not knowing what to do when they’re gone. it a song about searching for home when that person is ‘home’ and without them you don’t know home anymore. and ultimately it is a song about recognizing and saying “i love you” before it is too late to say it anymore. i wrote it for my father.
morgxn has received praise from a wide variety of publications such as V magazine, Billboard, NYLON, Alternative Press, FLAUNT, Popjustice with support from radio stations like KCRW and SiriusXM. morgxn’s songs have over 10.5MM collective streams on Spotify with his song, “home” coming in with 6.5MM alone. “home” has also been featured along with other select tracks on ABC, HBO, SHOWTIME, NBC, The CW and USA Networks.
