“S. Carey’s first album ‘All We Grow’ was a huge inspiration to me when I first started to sing on my bedroom recordings, way back in 2010,” Samson says. “It was a dream come true for both Beatrijs and I to tour with them last year and genuinely one of our favourite ever run of shows. They are the sweetest bunch of guys and we all got along so well. Beatrijs ended up joining the guys on stage most nights (adding violin), then Jeremy Boettcher and Ben Lester from the band kindly contributed some double bass and pedal steel to Paralanguage, which helped to finish up the whole year long recording process.

“I felt a little reluctant at first to ask Sean to create a remix for me, since the whole band had already been so giving – but was delighted when he enthusiastically said yes – and even happier when I heard what he had done! I love it.”Will has also announced a series of live dates.
