black midi Share New Single ‘Sweater’
London-based band black midi follow 2019’s Schlagenheim, their “encumbered but sophisticated, led by instinct, atmosphere and rhythm” (Billboard) debut album, with a new track, “Sweater.” It was recorded with Speedy Wunderground’s Dan Carey during the same period that resulted in Schlagenheim, and was the last of the tracks recorded during those sessions. “Sweater” opens with minimalistic instrumentation before bursting with turbulent guitar and percussion.
black midi will play a series of sold out shows in the UK and Europe and then head stateside to appear at Coachella amongst other shows. A full list of 2020 tour dates is available on their website.
