New single ‘Confirmation’ was conceived as the result of writers-block for the West London artist. Exploring “the difficulties of infinite choice and the allure of impulsiveness”, the track caught the attention of many, grabbing Noisey Hit List and Pitchfork’s Best New Track in the process. Today, Westerman reveals the Jonjo Lowe directed visual representation of the track. “We tried to put across otherness, impulsiveness and escapism. These are concepts I associate with, so I tried to make it a bit more of a personal thing than what I’ve done before. I hope it’s playful and fun too.” Out now on Blue Flowers, ‘Confirmation’ continues a string of collaborations with electronic producer Bullion.Westerman headlines The Shacklewell Arms on Wednesday 11th April.
