Quibi Debuts New Trailer for Darren Criss’ Musical Comedy Series “ROYALTIES” and Announces Original Soundtrack Republic Records to Release Soundtrack June 12th; The First Major Label Release for a Quibi Show Featured Artists Include Darren Criss, Rufus Wainwright, Mark Hamill, Julianne Hough, Jordan Fisher and Sabrina Carpenter
Los Angeles, CA – May 26, 2020 – Today, Quibi debuts the trailer of the new musical comedy series, ROYALTIES, created by Emmy & Golden Globe Award-winning actor and songwriter Darren Criss. ROYALTIES is a satirical take on the oft-untold story of songwriters behind the world’s biggest hits. Republic Records to release the series’ original soundtrack, marking the first major label release for a Quibi show.
On June 1st in tandem with the series premiere, music performed by the ROYALTIES Cast during the first three episodes will be released. As subsequent episodes air, new music will follow daily through the season finale on June 10th. Following the final episode, the full Royalties: Season 1 (Music from the Original Quibi Series) Official Soundtrack arrives on June 12.
The comedy will feature twelve original songs and ten music videos, all co-written by Criss, featuring performances by Jordan Fisher, Julianne Hough, Jackie Tohn, Bonnie McKee, Jennifer Coolidge, Lil Rel Howery, Mark Hamill, Rufus Wainwright, and Sabrina Carpenter.Royalties: Season 1 (Music from the Original Quibi Series) Track List:

ROYALTIES follows the ascent of a ragtag songwriting duo – Sara (Donohue) and Pierce (Criss) – as they navigate the strange and hilarious challenges of creating a truly great song, week after week. About Darren Criss
Darren Criss is a multi-faceted artist with an illustrious career spanning television, film, music and stage. His portrayal of Andrew Cunanan in Ryan Murphy’s award-winning series “American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace” was met with widespread critical acclaim, earning him a Primetime Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors’ Guild Award and Critics’ Choice Award.
