This is the 2nd and final track from Breakbot’s ‘Be Mine Tonight’ EP, out in full today on Ed Banger Records.

“Translight” is another classic Breakbot record, delicately blending elements of disco and French house. Often prone to collaborations, Breakbot has forgone a vocalist on “Translight”, instead crafting a weightless groove around a hypnotic vocal loop, accompanied by some groovy rhythm guitars and shimmering synths. It’s a track that will allow listeners to briefly escape the current global calamity and bask in sexy sounds of the beloved French producer.

Breakbot released the EP’s title track “Be Mine Tonight” back in April, premiered on PAPER. The instrumental of “Be Mine Tonight” was actually used to soundtrack a Chanel ad campaign featuring superproducer Pharrell, American actress Margaret Qualley, Belgian pop singer Angèle, French actress Isabelle Adjani and French singer/songwriter Sébastien Tellier.Breakbot was slated to tour North America throughout April, but all of his tour dates were canceled in light of the pandemic. Fortunately Breakbot has continued to satisfy fans throughout quarantine, releasing two excellent tracks and a delightfully uplifting Lockdown Boogie mix.’Be Mine Tonight’ EP is officially out today via Ed Banger Records / Because Music.
