At 12:01 am EST, a new album from STRFKR, titled Ambient 1, entered the world.
This gorgeous release is the band’s second full-length *this year*!! This is deeply felt music. Slow-blooming soundscapes yield a sense of calm, spacious yet melodic. Ambient 1 is a record to get lost in. Its creation was an escape in and of itself for STRFKR’s principal songwriter Josh Hodges who began constructing tracks daily as a form of processing during the pandemic.
