Kosha Dillz Reflecting on 9-11 respect + a new song
a weird day in my history
I was thinking of ways to chat about 9/11.
I remember being there close by but very far…in New Brunswick NJ. My roommate woke me up while I was hungover from a night of who knows what. I was on bail form a previous arrest and waiting out a pretty bad time of my life. I wasn’t really even alarmed. Was very numb. I lacked respect for so much, and today that I am living in NYC, I thought of respect. Detaching ourselves from this event is easy. Listening to all the names of everyone is very hard.

Respect. Although we are in a time of protest and political unrest, I’d like to think we’d all show up for each other if these times ever happened again. I love this picture of my grandfather. he missed us so much from Israel when my family came here he came over.
I hope to be more like him. Hard worker.
