BBC Introducing returns this November with a stellar line up. London Lexington once again plays host, welcoming three new artists breaking through in their field. DYLAN FRASER, PHOEBE ΔXΔ and BROOKE COMBE will all perform on Thursday 4th November.

DYLAN FRASER

Dylan Fraser is a small-town kid with wide-eyed ambition. Born and raised in Bathgate, Scotland, he had his sights set on a career in music from early childhood. First picking-up a guitar at just 12 years old (a hand-me-down from his mom, who, subsequently, taught him his first four chords), Dylan would reimagine his favorite songs, by his favorite artists, in his bedroom – everyone from Radiohead to Phoebe Bridgers to Kanye West – dreaming of city lights and plotting a path out of his small, satellite town.

PHOEBE ΔXΔ

PHOEBE ΔXΔ is a 19 year old singer, songwriter and producer from East London with a DIY ethos and irrefutably talented brand of self-taught, self-produced, alt bedroom pop. Discovered while at Latitude festival with her friends aged 17, her spontaneous open mic performance was caught by BBC Introducing who invited her to play on their stage the following day, which led her to meet her team at Massive Management, secure a publishing deal with Kobalt Music and sign to AWAL Recordings. Music was a permanent feature of Phoebe’s upbringing. Since the age of 11, she’s been teaching herself to write, record and produce music from her kitchen on GarageBand and eventually setting herself up on LogicPro and taking over the family garage in East London where she continues to immerse herself in music.

BROOKE COMBE

Brooke Combe discovered a love for music aged just 5 years old, after getting her first toy drum kit. Eventually she added playing saxophone, trombone, guitar, bass and piano to her repertoire while at secondary school and began to find her own uniquely powerful voice along the way. Combe, influenced by the ‘90s R&B played in her mum and dad’s house, as well as the Motown her grandparents would play her, developed a love of great songwriting and vocalists and lyricists with their own idiosyncrasies – such as Amy Winehouse and Fleetwood Mac – before beginning to work on her own material.Now, with a stunning brace of first statements finally out in the world, Brooke Combe has announced herself as a genuine artist to watch in 2021 and beyond.
