GHOSTPOET Announces ‘The More Light Tour’ May UK tour
Second album ‘Some Say I So I Say Light’ out 6th May 2013
Two years on from the release of his Mercury nominated debut, ‘Peanut Butter Blues and Melancholy Jam’, Ghostpoet announces his sophomore album ‘Some Say I So I Say Light’ which will be released on the 6th May 2013 through Play It Again Sam.
Alongside news of ‘Some Say I So I Say Light’, Ghostpoet premiered teaser track ‘MSI MUSMID’ on Gilles Peterson’s Saturday BBC 6Music Show. Obaro says ‘MSI MUSMID ’ pronounced ” M S I” ” MUS” “MID” “is a track based on a dream I had where dimsum and noodles were life-long friends who kept squabbling all the time…I try in vain to make sense of it all.” You can download ‘MSI MUSMID’ from SoundCloud now.

‘Some Say I So I Say Light’ was co-produced with the talented Richard Formby (Wild Beasts, Darkstar, Egyptian Hip-Hop) and pushes Ghostpoet even further in all directions, mixing the abstract and the concrete with uncanny skill. ‘Some Say I So I Say Light’ positions Ghostpoet alongside the likes of Tricky and The Streets – modern British auteurs who are as interested in pushing the boundaries sonically as expressing cathartic feelings.
Immediately captivating and uniquely honest – the intriguing musings of Ghostpoet truly come to life when he performs live. To celebrate the release of ‘Some Say I So I Say Light’ Ghostpoet will be headlining a UK tour through out May.
