Coco (Dirty Projectors, Lucius, Pavo Pavo) share new single

I pray for the spirit that it pushes
Be a mirror!
…
No, all the crashing never ceases
Don’t go like a beetle to the creases
In rough water
Coco is the project of Maia Friedman (The Dirty Projectors), Dan Molad (Lucius), and Oliver Hill (Pavo Pavo). Old friends with rich history, the trio convened with ambiguous artistic intention, easy chemistry, and open expectations. “Music sprung up between us with a surprising and collaborative ease,” they say. “It felt like a creative playground in contrast to the demands of our other projects. From the beginning, we made a conscious effort to foreground our intuitions and trust each other’s first instincts.” Coco released their stunning, self-titled debut in 2021 on First City Artists.
