Gabrielle Vaughn is a force, always bringing a fiery performance and a presence of glam rock whenever she steps on stage. The Northwestern Ohio native started to perform in countless venues around the Ohio area, starting professionally gigging at the age of 12. Known for her rich alto tone and her poignant persona and performance ability on stage, Vaughn has been recognized as a unique talent in Nashville for 5 years.
Gabrielle Vaughn has created a distinct sound, weaving and bending through the genres of pop, rock, soul, R&B, and alternative. As an artist, she has never let herself be put in a box. Vaughn has created a sound that will have you begging for more of those heavy riffs, slamming bass, and Vaughn’s electrifying vocals. Vaughn’s new music was produced by Nashville rising producer Jesse Brock, winner of the International Songwriting Competition alongside co-writer and collaborator Notelle. Gabrielle Vaughn has been seen performing around Nashville, performing at venues such as City Winery and The End, and also on tour dates to the east coast.
Vaughn is also a member of the all-female supergroup ElectraQueens, which has seen massive success in the last year and has recently collaborated with The Bacon Brothers on a recent release of their new EP ‘Erato,’ “Let Me Happen to You Girl” and Kathy Sledge of “Sister Sledge” fame on a cover of “You Are Everything” by The Stylistics. The supergroup performed at the Sound Mind Network Music Festival, sharing the stage with The Bacon Brothers, Johnny Showcase of America’s Got Talent, celebrity chef and songwriter Tony Luke Jr., and TikTok singer/songwriter sensation and autism awareness advocate Cory Singer. ElectraQueens have started growing their roots on the TikTok platform, and now have 98K followers after the success of their “duet” style videos, which you can watch here.

Gabrielle Vaughn’s new pop-rock single “Criminal” is a song you’ll definitely want to add to your playlist. The track starts off with a strong beat that, alongside Gabrielle’s strong vocals, immerses you into the overall darker vibe of the track.
Of course, we can’t forget to acknowledge the insane electric guitar solo that is towards the end of the song. This solo adds uniqueness and an extra element to the song, making it much more fun to listen to.
Additionally, what also really stands out about this track is its lyrics. Chorus lyrics “We kill the damn radio/Another victim I know” are a clever play on words to represent the overall criminal feel of the song, by painting the radio as another victim on Vaughn and her lover’s hit list. If anyone knows how to deliver these lyrics with a perfect punch, it’s Vaughn.
