Inciting unanimous tastemaker applause, Rolling Stone recently touted her among its coveted “Music’s Future 25” and proclaimed, “She’s already venturing into uncharted territory by blending Arabic, Latin, and Western sounds.” In a feature titled “Arabic Music Is On The Brink of a Global Breakthrough,” Pitchfork noted, “Elyanna’s brand of pop offers an updated sound compared to the pop music typically sung in Arabic.” Good Morning America stated, “The 21-year-old songstress, known for hits like ‘Ghareeb Alay’ and ‘Ana Lahale,’ blends genres and cultures in music.” She recently graced the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, and the outlet christened her “one of the brightest and most lauded emerging talents at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.” NYLON put it best by declaring, “Elyanna’s voice is paving a different path.”

Earlier this year, Elyanna dropped her surprise track “Sokkar,” which has already amassed over 1 million Spotify streams and counting. In 2022, the songstress unveiled her fan favorite Elyanna II EP. It notably featured single “Al Kawn Janni Maak” (La Vie En Rose) and official video styled by Lana Del Rey and directed by her sister Caroline “Chuck” Grant. Elyanna II also included her song “Ghareeb Alay” feat. Balti. The EP followed a string of Elyanna’s previous releases, including her 2020 self-titled debut EP and breakout single “Ana Lahale” feat. Massari, which has over 19.5 million Spotify streams to date and 13 million video views.
