Hi from Ohio! I am in Thornville, Ohio which is home to the Gathering Of The Juggalos and there are plastic dinosaurs everywhere and I played a show last night in Volcano. Just played a festival and it is festival month (and birthday month). And I am getting booked everywhere! (we are filling up!) I finally won a rap battle last night on VH1 vs Charron, the Canadian rapper on Wild ‘N Out.

COOL STORY BRO – another battle I am trying to win!

It was really odd to tell a camera but I did it because I am trying something new in my quest to share my story:)

I promised myself I would do this video for my 19 years and I followed thru. It’ll be the first of many times in creating Rami (or should I say reestablishing the state of..Rami!)

OLD FRIENDS

For the past two days. I have been n the phone with 2 of my “best friends” since I was 5-6 years old from soccer .Two took different paths. One was squeaky clean and one was what they call “off the Derech” since the beginning, from stolen cars, money scams and drugs. This friend put me in various life threatening situations. The worst situations actually, including a recent professional one that swore him off. My squeaky clean friend ? Well, I put him in some consequential situations that could’ve ruined his life but he never judged. Touche! (not sure if I used that right!)

I picked up the phone for both of them with the same intention. Who am I to judge? If I am capable of helping the “off the Derech” friend get back on track with the tools I have in place, why wouldn’t I? Sure it might’ve taken him long but it isn’t too late.

ABOUT LAST NIGHT

I had a lovely show last night, but the cooler thing is I have been celebrating 19 years sober all week ( it is custom to go to meetings and raise your hand to let others know!) and it has been a weirdly new experience in comparison to my past, especially since I am mentioning I am sober on stage now. I have recommitted to my recovery world and getting involved in service work. What is the point of this life unless we’re helping others with the tools we have? A simple mention helps.
