Night Windows Release In Memories
Night Windows Release In Memories
With three singles under their belts, it’s finally time to reveal the new Night Windows album in its entirety. In Memories is a huge leap forward from the Philly by way of New Jersey indie-rock trio and one that demands repeated listens. It’s an album that plays like a journal and has its own heartbeat. Introspective lyrics about growing up, processing grief, and contemplating all of the small moments that make up the bigger picture set against music that perfectly mirrors each feeling. We can only hope that Night Windows have more stories to tell after the release of In Memories. For now, you can listen to the album on all of your preferred streaming platforms or order the vinyl from Night Windows. You’ll be able to hear these songs live this March when Night Windows hits the road with fellow New Jersey indie-rock group Graduation Speech.

Bio:
Where do I go from here? Everyone is getting older. I’m losing people both to death and life. I’ve written about the sadness that comes with the gift of life, but never like this. This time, I leaned as hard into the sadness as necessary in order to feel better.
“In Memories is a huge step forward from a band that already ruled, but really benefits from the format of full band arrangements interspersed with the more solo-born experiments or just differently fleshed out songs. It’s a really dynamic set of songs that I could see people getting really excited about, especially with the way bands like Wednesday, MJ Lenderman, and Big Thief have gotten folks excited about a specific kind of wood-grained songwriting that Night Windows isn’t totally like, but could appeal to fans of.” -Fred Thomas
