UMG, WMG, Sony Music File Litigation Against AI MusicServices Suno and Udio for Massive Copyright Infringement
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), on behalf of its major label clients Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and Warner Music Group, announced the filing of two copyright infringement lawsuits against AI musicservices Suno and Udio, alleging the unlicensed use of copyrighted sound recordings to train their generative AI models.
