Introducing producer, DJ and composer Leon Vynehall to the Toast Roster with his new single ‘SHELLAC’. Ushering an era of music that sees the electronic stalwart lean into new territory, the pop-inflected club cut is a technical masterclass in what Leon Vynehall does best: warm vocals and sharp production that build into a cathartic crescendo, perfectly primed for the club season ahead.
Speaking on the track, Leon explains: “SHELLAC takes what I love about pop – infectious vocal hooks – and pairs it with what I love about UK club music – low-end bass and a shuffled groove. I was looking for the perfect vocal sample for SHELLAC, flicking through older records and CDs, but I couldn’t find it, so I made one myself…”
