Directed by LVTRKevin, the “Whatever U Want” visual follows G Herbo and his partner, Taina Williams, as they move through the chaos and glamour of New York Fashion Week, capturing their effortless chemistry amid designer runs, diamond shopping, and the nighttime allure of the city. Produced by Oz On The Track (Sexyy Red, Tee Grizzley, Polo G, Lil Durk), the record features Jeremih crooning, “‘Cause I would do it all for you, anything you want me to,” as G Herbo doubles down with conviction, rapping, “Whatever you want, go and get it, I’m supplying. Search it all you want, and I promise, you gon’ find it.” The track puts Herbo’s growth and devotion on display, showing he’s in a position to give his partner everything she wants, with the means to make it happen.Propelled by the success of “Went Legit,” which recently earned RIAA Gold status and marked his first-ever Top 10 on any Billboard radio chart, reaching #10 on the Billboard Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay Chart, G Herbo stands at a pivotal moment, closing one chapter and stepping boldly into the next, determined to prove he’s here to stay with Lil Herb.
Last month, the Chicago heavyweight announced his 1st Annual Birthday Bash, set to take place Saturday, October 26th at Chicago’s iconic Wintrust Arena to ring in his 30th birthday. Presented by 150 Dreamteam and BMN Entertainment, the event, aptly named Swerv & Friends, promises a one-night-only celebration featuring some of hip-hop’s most electrifying talent, including 21 Savage, Meek Mill, Polo G, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Hunxho, Nardo Wick, Skilla Baby, 42 Dugg, Queen Key, YK Niece, and more. The show will be hosted in partnership with 107.5 WGCI, and the event will bring together music, culture, and community on one of the city’s biggest stages, marking a hometown moment for both G Herbo and his fans. Tickets are now available for purchase HERE.
ABOUT G HERBO:
“It’s like finding your roots, getting in touch with your old self and that hunger you had when you first started, the energy that made the world fall in love with Lil Herb,” says G Herbo of his new project, Lil Herb. Named after the moniker he broke through with 15 years ago, it’s both an album and a time machine. After helping invent and globalize Chicago drill, launching the Swervin Through Stress nonprofit, and scoring his biggest hit “Went Legit” off his 2024 mixtape Greatest Rapper Alive (13M direct-to-fan streams), Herbo is now reaching back and looking forward. He recorded 100 songs over a year, revisited old favorites, and returned to Chicago studios with his day-ones. The result blends soulful No I.D.-crafted hip hop, menacing drill, and a handful of exciting guest features that elevate the project’s full-circle feel. “I’m at the finish line… I’m in full control of my destiny now. I’ve finished the marathon I started when I was 16, when I was Lil Herb.”
