SL shares visuals for new track ‘Nothing To Say’

After dominating the UK rap scene over the last year, topping 72m streams on Spotify and YouTube alone with anthems such as ‘Tropical’, ‘Gentleman’ and ‘Genes’ ft. Chipmunk, as well as an acclaimed feature on Nines’ ‘Crop Circle’ album, enigmatic masked artist SL has returned with visuals for a brand new single, ‘Nothing To Say’.

Opening to an infectious guitar loop, ‘Nothing To Say’ progresses SL’s already signature brand of mellow yet hard-edged rap even further. Exploring themes of dominating the scene, life on the streets and the lifestyle that comes with it, SL tells his story with a trademark relaxed flow, creating the perfect juxtaposition of hazed sonics and full bodied, imaginative rhymes. The Simon Aukes directed video helps to paint a wider portrait of the artist too; delivering a subtly sinister yet inherently London visual accompaniment to ’Nothing To Say’. Performing the track both in the open and derelict warehouse spaces, the visuals also provide a snapshot into the life of SL, providing a little more insight into the mysterious artist.
