Azealia Banks will be playing a one-off headline show at O2 Academy Brixton, London on 30th November 2013.

The announcement of this special show comes hot off the heels of Banks’ show-stopping back to back festival appearances in Europe over the summer. From Roskilde festival in Denmark, Pitch festival in Amsterdam, Melt festival in Germany and T in the Park in Scotland to a headline slot at London’s Lovebox and most recently Reading and Leeds. All in addition to Glastonbury 2013, where Azealia’s live performance not only received glowing reviews from the critics in the crowd but also ensured she was crowned queen of the festival by those following on social networks after she became the ‘Most Shared’ artist online via the official BBC website.

The one-off headline show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton will see Azealia perform tracks from her much anticipated debut album ‘Broke With Expensive Taste’, including previously released cut ‘212’ and upcoming single ‘ATM JAM’ which features Pharrell and is set for release on September 29th through Polydor Records.

Tickets for Azealia Banks at O2 Academy Brixton go on sale this Friday (30th August) at 9am from www.gigsandtours.com

“Azealia Banks oozes realness – a theme that seems to haunt some of her lyrics. There’s nothing fake about her: no deluded stage persona, and no backing track – just pure talent.” – The Fly
“Smarter, smuttier and more versatile that you’d feared… Banks channels a kitsch chic that’s just as metropolitan and internationalist as it is urban” – The Observer
