EXTRA SHOW ADDED IN LONDON DUE TO HIGH DEMAND
Due to high demand, they have now announced an extra show at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on Tuesday 15 December. Tickets for this new date will be on sale from Wednesday 01 April at 10am.
This tour will see The Pogues playing all the favourites – the bawdy, riotous bangers, the desolate howls of loss and love, and always, always, the laughing of the human heart no matter what shadows might hang over us.
Original members James Fearnley, Jem Finer and Spider Stacy will lead the charge, and will once again be joined by their usual superlative collection of special guest musicians and singers, among them the cream of the current generation of Irish artists, whose reimagining of traditional forms has provided some of the most extraordinary music of the last few years.
Together, they are going to take The Pogues songbook, one of the most influential and inspiring bodies of work to have emerged from that maelstrom of creativity that was the 1980s and infuse it with all the fire and joy it deserves, including “Fairytale of New York,” “Dirty Old Town,” “A Pair of Brown Eyes,” “Rainy Night in Soho,” “If I Should Fall From Grace With God,” and many more.
