Australian rave royalty Confidence Man return with their explosive new single ‘Young London‘, out 10 July via CHAOS/Polydor. Premiered during the band’s packed Active Scenes takeover at Love Saves The Day earlier this summer, the track instantly became one of the most talked-about moments of the set, with fans flooding social media demanding its release.

A bombastic club weapon built for peak-time mayhem, ‘Young London’ sees Confidence Man push even deeper into the rave-fuelled world they introduced on their previous EP, Active Scenes Vol One. Driven by chugging percussion and the band’s trademark tongue-in-cheek swagger, the track revolves around a vocal sample lifted from the opening moments of the official video for Bomb The Bass’ 1988 classic ‘Say A Little Prayer’ – a piece of dance music history, appearing only in the video’s iconic introduction and never on the original audio release. It’s another glimpse into Confidence Man’s ever-expanding club universe, where rave culture, absurdist pop and unrelenting fun collide.

Speaking on the track, Confidence Man says: “Life is short. Life is sweet. Enjoy it while ya got it and shake it til ya dead. This is the spot. This is the sound of young London. Bomb the bass with a brand new jam.”

Confidence Man’s summer continues at full throttle. Fresh from bringing their acclaimed live show to Governors Ball in New York and WeHo Pride in Los Angeles, the band also reunited with JADE onstage in LA for a surprise performance of their hit collaboration ‘gossip’.

Fronted by enigmatic masked band member Reggie Goodchild, the Active Scenes / Confidence Man DJ project has torn through Sub Club (Glasgow), Pikes (Ibiza), AVA Festival, and multiple roadblock sets at Glastonbury’s Greenpeace Stage, Levels andNYC Downlow, cementing Confidence Man’s place as global party instigators. The months ahead see Confidence Man continue their festival domination with appearances atMaiden Voyage, Lost Village and Hard Summer in Los Angeles, before joining Sammy Virji for a special support slot at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre this October.

Following their BRIT Award nomination for International Group of the Year, ARIA Awardnominations for Best Independent Release, Best Dance/Electronic Release and Best Live Act as well as a recent win at the Beatport Awards in Ibiza for Best Live Act, Confidence Man continue to cement their status as one of the world’s most exhilarating live acts. With every Active Scenes party selling out in minutes and their club universe growing bigger by the month, ‘Young London’ arrives as the soundtrack to another unstoppable summer.
