Today, Kiran Leonard unveils a new song from his debut album Bowler Hat Soup. ‘Port-Ainé’ is an altogether more restrained affair that ‘Dear Lincoln, the song that announced him to the world with a slew of press coverage and a comfortable four weeks spent on the BBC Radio 6 Music playlist.

‘Port-Ainé’ will be released as a single on the same day as the album, and that day is 4th November. Originally slated for an August release, the original plan was to release Bowler Hat Soup as a limited run of 300 vinyl LPs through Hand Of Glory. However the attention Kiran’s attracted this year has enabled Hand Of Glory to present the album in the way Kiran had long envisaged: as a lavishly-packaged double LP, housed in a gatefold sleeve with all the trimmings and – most crucially – with the full tracklisting and songs in their full, unedited glory.
Please email for a copy, for an interview with Kiran or to see him perform at one of the following shows:

12 October – Sound and Vision Festival, Norwich
20 October – A Carefully Planned Festival, Manchester

Background information on Kiran below in his own words, for he writes far more usefully about his own music that I ever could.
