Vancouver new wave outfit, Mode Moderne, mark the release of their new album, Occult Delight, with the premiere of their gothically gorgeous new video for “Unburden Yourself” via Noisey. Director Jordan Utley fully embraces the song’s morbid narrative and mournful vibe with a series of non-linear, snow-dusted, dreamlike shots.

Mode Moderne’s Philip Intilé was thrilled to work with Director Jordan Utley. “We’re a big fan of Jordan Utley’s work, he makes fantastic images. Long winded music-video narratives are played out, we just want strong images, total Jean Cocteau vibes, and we got lucky because it snowed in Salt Lake City AND there was a full moon! Occult Delight is out now via Light Organ Records. Occult Delight is the follow up to Light Organ’s 2012 release Strange Bruises and the band’s independent 2009 release Ghosts Emerging.
