‘Agora’ by Bear Hands – Alternate video

Qatch  the newest video from Brooklyn’s Bear Hands – It’s an alternate video to their track “Agora” from their most recent full-length Distraction (Cantora). The video playfully incorporates the track’s lyrics into a wildly colorful montage of cluttered items strewn around the home of the titular agoraphobe.

Bear Hands’ sophomore album Distraction finds the band stretching out from their charmingly scrappy indie-rock beginnings of their debut into full-blown technicolor, following three years of work on the record coupled with heavy touring with the likes of Passion Pit, MGMT, GZA and more. The hard work resulted in a self-assuredness immediately evident on the simultaneously whiplash-inducing and silkily-grooving lead single “Giants.” Hook-filled from top to bottom, but dynamic and filled with curveballs, Distraction is an invitingly idiosyncratic gem.
