JAMES VECK-GILODI premieres debut track ‘Holes’
and announces UK headline tour January
Deaf Havana frontman and chief-songwriter, James Veck-Gilodi, has today premiered his first track under his own name. A demo of ‘Holes’, is now streaming exclusively on DIY here: http://diymag.com/2014/10/27/james-veck-gilodi-unveils-new-track-holes-announces-uk-tour
“‘Holes’ is about how I never take anything into my own hands,” James reveals, “and how I resent everything good that happens to everyone else instead of actually getting off my arse and doing something about it. I wrote it in a kind of light hearted manner, it’s to be taken with a pinch of salt. This project is something that Max and I have wanted to do for a long time and we’re so excited that we’ve finally been able to get it off the ground.”
The new project, which sees Veck-Gilodi joined by bandmate Max Britton, plays its first headline date this evening at a sold-out St Pancras Old Church in Kings Cross, before embarking on their debut UK headline tour in January, dates of which were announced this morning:
