DENGUE FEVER KOREAN/JAPANESE AND HONG KONG TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED FOR POP-UP TOUR!
Dengue Fever, who announced earlier this month they would be releasing their fifth full-length, The Deepest Lake, in 2015. have just announced a 3 city pop-up tour of South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong!
The band leaves today for the following dates:

11/26/14 @ Moon Romantic, Tokyo, Japan
11/28/14 @ Clockenflap Multimedia Arts and Music Festival, Hong Kong
LOS ANGELES, CA (FRIDAY NOVEMBER 21, 2014) – DENGUE FEVER, whose exotic blend of Cambodian rock, Afro grooves, surf, and garage psych confirmed today that they will be headed to Asia for first-ever tour dates in Seoul, South Korea, Tokyo, Japan and a return to Hong Kong.The band leaves today in support of their Korean-only CD/LP career spanning ‘best-of’ compilation Swallow The Sun on Beatball Records. Dengue Fever has toured extensively in South East Asia and the world throughout the years with stops in Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Laos. However this pop-up tour was necessitated by a wildly popular television show SNL Korea that featured the Dengue Fever track “Integratron” off their 2008 release Venus on Earth on multiple episodes. The song has been used in several sketches parodying the video game Grand Theft Auto and fans began peppering social media asking the band to perform live in Seoul. ABOUT DENGUE FEVER
DENGUE FEVER is Cambodian songstress Chhom Nimol, Zac Holtzman (guitar/vocals), Ethan Holtzman (keyboards), Senon Williams (bass), Paul Smith (drums) and David Ralicke (horns). They have released five albums, Dengue Fever, Escape From Dragon House, Venus On Earth, Cannibal Courtship, In The Ley Lines, the DVD/CD soundtrack to the band’s documentary, Sleepwalking Through The Mekong, a collection of lost Cambodian classics, Dengue Fever Presents: Electric Cambodia and in 2015 The Deepest Lake. They are based in Los Angeles.
