Ibeyi today announce details of 4 new UK dates that will be added to their existing European tour. The full tour dates are as follows:

Earlier this year Ibeyi revealed details of their self titled debut album. Produced by Richard Russell at his west London Residence La Revolution studio and will be released on 16^th February 2015 on XL Recordings. The album cover artwork (revealed above) features a photograph of the twins taken in 2014 as well as an alternative, interchangeable cover featuring a photograph of them as children.

To mark news of the album release, Ibeyi recently premiered the video to their new single ‘Mama Says’. The deeply personal and moving video, which features the twins alongside their mother, can be seen right now HERE. It was directed by Ed Morris, who previously directed Ibeyi’s ‘River’video. Ibeyi recently performed ‘Mama Says’ while making their UK TV debut on Later With Jools Holland. You can check out the performance below.

Ibeyi are 19 year old French Cuban twins, Naomi and Lisa-Kainde Diaz. They are daughters of the late Cuban percussion Anga Diaz. Naomi plays percussive instruments, the Cajon and the Batas, while Lisa plays piano. Together the twins combine modern pop, hip-hop and electronic influences with the traditional sounds of their father’s Yorùbán culture.
