Nadine Shah – ‘Stealing Cars’ (Out on 12 January via Apollo)

‘Stealing Cars’ an early 2015 release, marks a welcome return to action for the talented Nadine Shah, Following the afterglow from  debut album 2013’s ’Love Your Dum and Mad’ any fresh anticipation given fresh encouragement by this winning return. The track was once again recorded at The Pool in London with Peter Jobson (I am Kloot), Nick Webb and Ben Hillier – who oversaw production duties very well it seems.

‘Stealing Cars’ encompassing a not unfamiliar lyrical world of  yearning, tender yet “billowing thing of smoky wonder” and yes, I wish I has said that last comment, it seems too close and personnel, just hope the process takes not much of a emotional toll, on this form, Nadine Shah is one to keep. 8.2/10
