Mini Mansions have just dropped their video for “Death Is A Girl,” the first single from their upcoming album, The Great Pretenders, due in early 2015 on T Bone Burnett’s Electromagnetic Recordings, via Capitol Records in the U.S. and Fiction Records in the UK. Watch the clip below.

Mini Mansions are T Bone Burnett’s first signing, and also likely the only record you’ll hear that features both Brian Wilson and Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner. Drummer Michael Shuman in the band is also bassist for Queens of the Stone Age.
The band had this to say about it all: “The video is a neo-noir mix of sex, death, and psychedelic interrogation techniques, only used in purgatory facilities disguised as 1970’s police holding tanks.”
This single is accompanied by a B-side, a cover of Sparks’ “Sherlock Holmes,” and available via 7” HERE and available digitally HERE.
