A classically trained violinist, Tristin originally wrote what he describes as a “Cinefonietta” or a string group; an imaginary soundtrack using an orchestra larger than chamber, smaller

than a symphony. However his passion for electronica and the world of music production has resulted in a unique collection of compositions marrying both classical and contemporary genres.

His career in music has encompassed scoring for the moving image, including the Academy Award nominated live-action short “Wish 143”, several Bafta nominated TV Film Features and a Mercury Prize winning record production (‘Talvin Singh – OK’).

“Mal Influence” is self-released on his Cinefonietta label in March 2015, and features extraordinary cover photograph from Mark Polyblank, and a ground-breaking video created by Raoul Teague.
