New York, NY (July 24, 2024) – GRAMMY-nominated global Afrobeats superstar Ayra Starr performs her hit songs “Last Heartbreak Song” and “Woman Commando” in an incredible performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which serves as her US late night television debut.

Both songs appear on her critically-lauded sophomore album The Year I Turned 21, which was released in May via Mavin Records / Republic Records. Listen HERE.

The one-two punch of the performance spotlights her impressive dynamics. Soft guitar sets the tone for “Last Heartbreak Song” as her delicate delivery echoes on the hook, a seemingly heartbreak song never sounded better, with emotions laced on her euphonious voice “This is my last heartbreak song. I’ll be better on my own.”

Flipping the script, “Woman Commando” kicks into high gear to the sound of a wailing siren.Her confidence fuels the verses as she breaks into energetic choreography surrounded by dancers. A perfect song of empowerment with an energetic and affirmative chant. “Follow the woman commando.”
