‘Reborn In Defiance’

Biohazard are back with their first album with their original line up in eighteen years. It seems hard to believe that it’s been almost two decades since the original line up broke down opening the door for musicians to come and go in the Biohazard camp whilst attempting to fill the original members’ shoes. Formed in Brooklyn New York in the late eighties and have sold over five million albums worldwide. These hard working, honest men from rough +neighbourhoods have had the pleasure of touring with bands such as Sepultura, Slayer and the Prince of darkness himself Ozzy Osbourne. Biohazard have pretty much ticket off every accomplishment a hard rock band should wish to achieve.
They are now back with new album Reborn In Defiance that was released on January 20th through Nuclear Blast records and it has to say that Biohazard still no how to kill it in the studio. Mixing walls of guitars and powerful vocals with light rhythms and rap styled vocals in parts that opened the door for the nu metal genre to take flight just over a decade ago.
The lines may be beginning to show on the members of Biohazard but they still no what they want to play and what their dedicated follows want to hear. The list of bands that Biohazard have influenced is far too long to list and ever growing with the release of new material that is of this calibre.
With tracks such as the brutal “Skullcrusher” and the diverse “Vows Of Redemption” Biohazard are bound to please their dedicated fans with this album as well as new listeners to the band. This album shows that although this dog may be getting old it’s still got plenty of life left in it.
