All Eyes On Finland: Music Finland Presents 17 Bands At Eurosonic 2013

Including LCMDF, French Films, Phantom, Sin Cos Tan, Michael Monroe, Siinai + More

Music Finland is proud to announce that no less than 17 bands from Finland will be performing at influential live music event Eurosonic 2013, with the Nordic nation being the focus country for next year’s festival. Happening in Gronigen, Netherlands between the 9th – 12th January 2013, here’s a rundown of all the Finnish acts performing at Eurosonic including LCMDF, European Border Breakers Award winners French Films, Sin Cos Tan, Michael Monroe, Siinai and several more.

Watch the You Tube playlist to find out more on each act:

The first timers at Eurosonic are an interesting Roland TB 303 project entitled Acid Symphony Orchestra, psychedelic rockers Death Hawks, joyous indie poppers French Films, the soulful nocturnal electronics of Phantom, folk singer-songwriter duo Eva and Manu, enigmatic songstress Lau Nau, and the Le Tigre-esque synth pop of LCMDF. The stages are also set for the glitchy Mesak, brave punkers and ‘The Punk Syndrome’ documentary subjects Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät, indie rockers Satellite Stories, dramatic electro pop from Sin Cos Tan, krautrockers Siinai and the Finnish rock legend and former Hanoi Rocks frontman Michael Monroe.

Additionally Eurosonic Noorderslag also welcomes back four Finnish acts who have previously performed at the festival: the Dan Deacon-stylings of Rubik, crossover anthems from Disco Ensemble, industrial techno from Huoratron and the eclectic genre-defying sounds of Don Johnson Big Band.
