Ally Salort Releases New Anthem “Housekeeping”
Ally Salort Releases New Anthem
“Housekeeping”
[Los Angeles, CA – May 15, 2026] – New Jersey-raised, Los Angeles-based, singer-songwriter Ally Salortreleases her new single “Housekeeping,” an upbeat yet introspective reflection about the decision to let someone go, and quietly hoping the feeling remains on the other side. “Housekeeping” is out now via Disruptor Records/RCA Records.
On “Housekeeping,” Ally shares: “Housekeeping is a fun emotional pop song for moments when you need to metaphorically declutter. For getting that one person out of your system that’s been there way too long. Letting go is so tricky and I just hope the listener feels like I’m right there with them, holding their hand through it.”
The release follows “Finish Line,” a vulnerable and emotionally transparent inner-monologue on the duality of ambition and expectation, “I’ve Never Met Her,” a glowing pop track on leaving behind a former version of yourself, and “We’re Not Friends,” a sharp song confronting emotional truths with wit and self-awareness. Salort’s recent songs demonstrate a new level of confidence in her lyrical perspective.
The release also expands on the world Salort first introduced last summer through her debut EP Change of Plans. Featuring tracks like “Tattoo (Selective Memory),” “Horror Movie,” “Before & After,” “Pretty Face,” “Swiss Army Knife,” and “Any Way I Can,” the projects exemplify Salort’s gift for immersive storytelling and layered emotionality. Since the EP’s release, she headlined successful shows in New York and Los Angeles in August, performed a sold-out London date in September, and delivered an outstanding performance at Weekend Two of Austin City Limits 2025.
As excitement around her latest music continues to grow, Salort has been hitting the road since April as support for internationally acclaimed, multi‑platinum and award‑winning artist, producer, musician, and songwriter Charlie Puth on his North American tour. Performing on every date, Salort’s presenting her infectious pop energy and undeniable stage presence on the biggest stages of her career so far. The tour is a major milestone and serves as her largest run of shows to date, while giving fans a first look at her newest material. Click here for tickets.

About Ally Salort:
With a voice that carries both warmth and vulnerability, Ally’s music dives deep into themes of love, self-discovery, and emotional growth. Growing up in the creatively rich town of Maplewood, New Jersey, she fell in love with singing early on, asking for voice lessons at just seven after watching her older brother perform. That spark quickly turned into something bigger when, at 14, she was flown to Los Angeles as a finalist in a national talent search. A year later, she began posting covers on YouTube, eventually finding her stride on TikTok, where her mix of raw vocals and heartfelt songwriting drew a dedicated and growing fanbase. Now, at 22, Ally has released her debut EP, Change of Plans, marking a powerful new chapter in her artistic journey.
Influenced by the emotional depth of Fiona Apple and the vocal finesse of Ariana Grande, Ally crafts songs that speak to life’s quiet truths and loud realizations. Her writing is deeply personal yet universally relatable, offering a fresh perspective on the everyday emotions we all carry. Change of Plans weaves together stories of heartbreak, uncertainty, clarity, and growth, capturing the chaos and beauty of young adulthood. More than just a title, the EP is a statement about embracing the unexpected, leaning into transformation, and finding strength in vulnerability. Building on its success, Ally is already crafting her next wave of music, a fearless continuation of her pursuit of authenticity, growth, and sonic evolution.
