super-quick one…

if you missed it, i just wrote, recorded and released a brand-new song, written with help from input from over 600 patrons, called “drowning in the sound”. i then released it as a Patreon Thing.

i’m really, really proud of this song. it’s just piano and vocals but it sounds massive. there’s shades of everything in it: a little ani, a little regina, a little tori, a little prince… even a little elliott smith.

the lyrics were inspired by lots of things: the many personal and heavy comments on my patreon post, the eclipse, the hurricane, the government, the increasing toxicity on the internet….
