Amanie Illfated – “Halawa (ft. Caij0)”

Amanie Illfated (pronounced: ah-MAH-nee eel-fay-ted) is an award-winning South Sudanese born international recording artist. Her music is a blend of Afropop, R&B and a great international flavor. She has been described as the “African M.I.A.” And I think this is an apt way to describe her. Her music is a mix of R&B, hip hop and some great pop vibes. I was immediately reeled in right from the start. I was feeling the great energy of her vocal powers and her great sound overall and I think you will too!

She is releasing her latest single called “Halawa (ft. Caij0)” which is off her recently released album Divine.

The single starts off with some great beats. This seemed like the perfect summer anthem. I thought it would be perfect for the beach and BBQ’s. It had a great chill factor which I loved. Illfated’s vocals were also great. Some of the lyrics were sung in what I assumed was Sudanese which overall added a great exotic element to this track.

Caij0’s rapid rap style offers a great buffer to the sounds. Loving every moment of the excellent vibes here. Illfated really ups the heat factor here, which I think makes it absolutely for the summertime vibes!

I think the great vibe Illfated brings to the table is absolutely riveting. Her revved energy and her overall execution and delivery is just right. I think this will become one of the hottest jams during summer and I can see gaining traction on the radio and in clubs everywhere.
