Globally acclaimed modern Irish folk trio Amble have announced a major UK headline tour for September and October 2026. The seven-date run marks the band’s biggest UK headline shows to date and follows a phenomenal period of international growth for the band, whose emotionally resonant songwriting and captivating live performances have seen them become one of the most exciting new acts in contemporary folk music.

Kicking off at Sheffield’s Octagon on September 28th, the tour will see the band travel through Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham and Cardiff before culminating with a landmark headline show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on October 8th.

Artist pre-sale tickets will be available Wednesday June 3rd at 10am local time, using the password MoralVictory, with general on-sale beginning here on Friday June 5th at 10am BST.

Amble’s busy schedule follows a phenomenal 2025 in which they toured U.S. arenas with Hozier, amassed 151 million global streams, sold 130,000 headline tickets, and released their debut album Reverie – the chart-topping, #1 Irish album and Spotify’s most-streamed album of the year in Ireland.

Featuring fan favourites including Lonely Island, Mary’s Pub, and Schoolyard Days– whose videos have all surpassed 1.7 million views apiece – the album picked up praise from NPR, Rolling Stone, Stereogum, and more, while igniting a dedicated and rapidly expanding global fanbase.

In December, Amble celebrated by headlining three sold-out nights at Dublin’s 3Arena, playing to over 40,000 fans. They captured that homecoming on Live From Dublin II, which confirms Amble’s reputation as one of the most beloved and engaging live acts around.

Last month, Amble released the new single Moral Victory,” an immersive swirl of strum, strings, and harmonium that depicts a fading picture of romance with both personal tenderness and poetic grace. That poignant work added to the new chapter that they opened up with The Rarest Hour, a beautifully spare, classic Irish ballad that explores nostalgia’s bittersweet pull and the indifference of time. The new songs follow Amble’s breakout 2025 debut album Reverie and the subsequent Hand Me Downs EP.

AmbleRobbie Cunningham (lead vocals/guitar), Ross McNerney (mandolin/bouzouki), and Oisin McCaffrey (guitar/vocals) – also won big at Ireland’s RTÉ Choice Music Prize last month, taking home awards for Single of the Year(“Schoolyard Days”) and Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

Currently the band are supporting Dermot Kennedy in Europe and the U.K., with additional overseas dates ahead continuing their world tour, which has sold out venues across Europe, the UK, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Their meteoric rise is a testament to both their dedication and the deeply organic connection they’ve built with audiences worldwide through intimate storytelling, rich harmonies and no-frills acoustic instrumentation.

Only three years ago, Amble were playing small clubs and local pubs after leaving behind careers as school teachers and a data scientist in rural Western Ireland. Since then, their captivating live energy and heartfelt songwriting have carried them from local venues to international stages, with their remarkable growth speaking to the inherent power and emotional resonance of their soul-stirring music.
