Monday 6th of October sees the release of ‘Grizzly Bear’, the second single taken from Angus & Julia Stone’s critically acclaimed self-titled third album, produced by Rick Rubin. The album debuted at #1 in France, Australia and New Zealand and peaked Top 10 in 14 other counties on iTunes.

Grizzly Bear’ features a breezy Californian beat and hooky bassline which Angus and Julia’s cool vocals overlay perfectly. The video for ‘Grizzly Bear’ was directed by long-time collaborator Jessie Hill and filmed in Los Angeles providing a behind-the-scenes insight of the band working together in the studio with Rick Rubin.
Angus & Julia have had massively successful careers both as a duo, with their albums “A Book Like This” and “Down The Way”, both critical and commercial successes and more recently as solo artists. It was the legendary US producer Rick Rubin (Jay Z, Beastie Boys, Johnny Cash etc) who brought them together once more as a band. They spent time writing and recording at Rubin’s Shangri La Studios in Malibu and the fantastic result is their new album “Angus & Julia Stone”.
This summer the band performed at venues throughout the US, Australia, and Europe for headline shows and festival appearances including two special, sold-out shows here in London at the stunning and atmospheric Wilton Music Hall in July. Angus & Julia will return to the UK for a string of headline tour dates this December. The forthcoming tour will see the band performing many of their most well-loved tracks along with new material from their recently released album.
